What We Provide A New Agent

Continuous training on all products and sales techniques needed to be a successful health insurance agent.

A paid Errors and Omission insurance policy for being an agent of our agency.

Free brochures and marketing materials to grow and expand your client base.

The ability to offer other products such as life insurance and Medicare Supplement policies.

Qualifications of a
Successful Agent

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued.

Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor’s degree is desired.

Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus.

Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred.

The key to being a good insurance agent is putting the needs of the client first. It is essential an agent listen carefully to what their prospective clients need and clearly demonstrate their interest in providing a proper solution.

Are you someone that can get yourself going every day without a ton of structure? To succeed in insurance sales, one must be a self-starter.  Persistence and follow-up are keys to success. 

Do you enjoy coming up with creative solutions to problems? Much of this job is helping clients find the right insurance policies for their needs.

Responsibilities of a New Agent

Establish a collaborative relationship with prospective clients from various sources such as networking, cold calling, and referrals.

Conduct sales presentations

Laptop or iPad for quoting and completing applications as well as cellular phone.

Explain the features and benefits of various policies.

Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients needs and budget.

Review policy renewals.

Maintain electronic and paper records.

Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data.

Obtain a Life and Health Insurance license in the states you conduct business in.

Maintain required continuing education requirements.

Reliable transportation.

Provide customer service.
